021 - Ask Your Way To A Best-Selling Offer
Follow this guide to partner with God to launch an offer people pay good money for.
We all know the power of a good offer.
The right offer + the right audience = massive impact & income.
But, how do we get there?
We get there by simply ASKING our way there.
That's what we're going to dig into, but from a Spirit-Filled perspective.
We're going to start with the heart of the matter and then move into a practical roadmap that you can follow.
Let's start with James 4:2b.
"You do not have because you do not ask."
At face value, it seems to say that the reason we don't have a best-selling offer is because we're not asking for it.
However, the thought continues in James 4:3.
"You ask and do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, so that you may spend what you request on your pleasures."
You see, the key to getting what we *want is to have our WANTS aligned with what God wants.
That's the starting point.
As we submit our desires (specifically for business) to God, He purifies them.
They go from selfish motive to compassion.
Our desires go from wanting to have an easy life with lots of money to wanting to love and serve people like Jesus did.
It may include a lot of money.
But, the money isn't the point.
It's simply a resource to provide more Kingdom impact.
This is the foundation of you being able to ASK and it being given to you.
We MUST align with what God wants.
When we do, continual streams of blessing will flow to us and through us to affect the world around us.
And the best thing...
It will all flow from REST.
God does it for us. He sets it up and we simply show up.
A true co-laboring as described in 1 Corinthians 3:9.
That should be our goal. To co-labor with God, where God SETS everything up for us.
What does that look like practically for us when it comes to creating best-selling offers?
Here's the roadmap...
1 - ASK for Compassion
Where compassion is, miracles flow.
Just look at Jesus. Every time He was 'moved by compassion', it resulted in a miracle.
In the same way, if you want miraculous results, seek God's compassion for your audience.
This looks like spending time with God, ASKING for His heart for the people you serve.
2 - ASK for Wisdom
While you're with the Lord, ask Him for wisdom on how to SERVE the people in front of you.
For every person Jesus healed, He did it differently. This was because, through wisdom, He knew exactly how they needed to be healed to bring about a WHOLENESS of healing.
We must seek out His wisdom to the problems we help people solve.
Practically, think through the solutions others have tried, and use creativity to find the best solution.
Think it through.
Map it out.
Make it even better.
3 - ASK People What They Want
Armed with compassion and wisdom, now it's our turn to simply ask the people what they want.
Instead of spouting your solution to people, simply ask them if they want help.
Again, like Jesus.
When he went up to the blind man that was crying out to Him, He first ASKED the man what he wanted.
He didn't assume.
He asked.
Do the same.
Practically, you can go on Facebook and ask something like, "When it comes to [thing they desire - "scaling a course to 6-figures"], what would you want help with?"
Curiosity opens the door.
When people respond, then you KNOW exactly what to create for them.
4 - ASK for Commitment
When you know what people want and you've created it, now we must ask people to commit.
Like Jesus asking the rich young ruler to sell everything he has and give to the poor.
Ask people to commit the process that you created for them.
Practically, you can ask them to SIGN up for a free 'Taste & See' class where you're going to help them with the thing they said they wanted.
Then, get them to commit to showing up for the class on the thank you page.
5 - ASK if They Want To Continue
After they've committed, and shown up to the class, ask them if they want to continue the journey.
Instead of "FORCING" a journey on them, like most marketing, we should position our offer as a simple ask to continue.
Jesus invited people to drop everything and follow Him.
Some did. Some didn't.
In the same way, we have to make the ASK, but then let them make a choice.
Practically, you can do this at the end of your free 'Taste & See' Class.
Ask them if they want to continue before you make your pitch.
If people say no, then don't pitch.
If they say yes, then pitch your heart out.
Invite them on the rest of the journey.
Conclusion:
By simply asking with a heart of compassion, you'll build an offer that people WANT to be part of.
It's authentic.
It flows.
It transforms.
This is the way we should all build our offers.
By simply asking God for His insight, and then asking the people.
It really is that simple.
